Facebook will warn people who "Like" on what they consider to be misinformation and then refer them to a WHO website on the virus.

That's kind of funny given that it was the WHO pushing the Chinese propaganda misinformation that the virus couldn't be spread person to person.

I guess it's their fault for still having Facebook.

They're attempting to educate the rubes on the very real danger of disseminating misinformation. In my opinion, judging by what is routinely posted on this forum, it's a lost cause. But kudos to them for trying.

I would trust the CDC more so than the WHO but I do appreciate their attempt to stop the spread of misinformation about this.

Is saying tye virus isn’t killing anywhere close to the amount of people as originally claimed disinformation


Is pointing out the WhO said the virus was not contagious disinformation?

It's not the message the media wants to be disseminated...therefore it's deemed false. If people don't panic and lose thier sh*t over this, they will spend less time watching the "news", the media gets less advertising revenue and people make their own decisions.
