Relax, people. Most of the money went to large corporations, not individuals. There is another active forum thread on that topic right now.

Stimulus breakdown:

citizens 18%

small biz 17%

big biz & gov't 65%

If that is not socialism, it sure is darned close.
That isn’t socialism..

That right there is called the last gasp of American capitalism.

Socialism didn’t get us here but it might get us out of this mess if applied correctly.

I'm just mad I still didn't make the cut off. Getting an extra $2000 a month would be really nice.

Stimulus money is socialism.

How many of the self proclaimed capitalist here at CD with return their socialist stimulus money? How many will burn their checks? Perhaps you trumpsters will be framing your checks now that the money is being held up in order to put Trump's name on those checks.

This goes to show that republicans do not have a clue when it comes to living on a working person's budget. $1200 is not enough to see a family of four one week. In most cases $1200 won't pay the rent. What happens when the $1200 runs out? No job, no income, no food, and they still need to feed their families. It shouldn't take much imagination to see what's coming next.

There are other ways out, but the Blue vs. Red must stop and it must become and 99% vs the 1%

Socialists Nancy and Trunky are at it again.
Andrew Yang would be so happy.

He got his monthly basic income wish. and Trump honored it right in.

Jeez keeping everyone pretending we're in a pandemic so they can force mail in ballots is getting pricey

That depends. I move around a lot, and have been in several different states at times of election. I just left California, and am now in a swing state on the east coast.
