I don't know. Trump is clever like a fox, or like a stable genius perhaps. He wants to ramp up the COVID to unmanageable levels so that he can declare marshal law and postpone the November election, which he seems likely to lose since the onset of the Trump Virus.

What are they going to do, shut down Walmart. Seriously, there's nothing much in Idabel. A stay at home order would amount to zero.

New York is a red state with Trump supporters? In case you're not paying attention, the vast majority of the states with the highest death and infection rates are blue.

“The test results came back on Easter Sunday. Tammy had been feeling "kind of crappy" when she went to her doctor in rural southeastern Oklahoma last week. A sign of possible pneumonia prompted her to get a coronavirus test later that day at the McCurtain County Health Department in Idabel.

When it came back positive, Tammy, who spoke on the condition that CNN not use her last name to protect her privacy, had already quarantined herself. Isolated, she decided to write her governor, Kevin Stitt, the first-term Republican and one of just 8 governors in the US to resist issuing a statewide stay-at-home-order. Tammy had voted for Stitt but she didn't agree with his decision.”

Why aren’t all states in a stay at home state?..
If their hospital capacity is expected to be adequate to handle the small percentage of people who get this virus who have symptoms severe enough to require hospitalization, then what would be the reasoning for these people shutting down their economies and their lives and trying to run away and hide from this virus.

This "flattening the curve" strategy is not designed to save any significant number of lives. The purpose of doing this is to reduce the speed with which the virus spreads so that the deaths and hospitalizations can be handled in a more manageable fashion.

There is no escaping the spread of this virus. About 60%-70% of us are going to get it. Maybe more. If anyone has proposed an idea for how to make this virus vanish or to make us impervious to it, please do share. Because despite all the media efforts to promote a mass hysteria mob-style panic, going through this clearly appears to be our destiny.

We cannot run away from this, nor should we try. We have taken the time and we have expended a truly extraordinary amount of resources in order to make adequate preparations for us to make our way through as safely as we can, although that certainly will not be a painless or lossless process.

We have to go through this. It is our destiny. Do not be cowards, people.

I'm interested just how this lady was exposed. If shes had no contact with anyone from outside her area where/how did she pick it up?

Food wrappers, a public bathroom a traveler from somewhere used, what's the method of transmission? Did it blow in on the wind?

There have been a couple cases here in NV in really remote areas. Even on the Pyramid Lake Indian reservation. But these people had contact with visitors from CA.

Just gotta wonder how the bug is getting around. It seems to be a consummate hitchhiker.

Sadly, our media isn't responsible enough to report that information. Better to just push FUD-it sells.

Number of interstates in the area, or all it takes is some people from the area that visited the gulf for Spring Break or a kid whose college dorm closed came home to their smaller town from a major outbreak location or flew home or drove home on the interstate and got it from a gas station break.

So many easy ways for people to bring it back home to a small town.

Again, funny....I did not know freedo cuomo was a trump supporter? He was out while knowingly having CV19, with his wife and children on Easter weekend. BTW I did not know his wife was also a trump supporter, which she also has CV19, now.....

Does New York have a stay at home order in place or is Cuomo saying, "Hell with staying at home. Go out and eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die."
