From the other forum Health and Wellness, I saw a few people were comparing how knowledgeable between the two; it came to my mind that I wonder if Bill Gates would ever be interested to be a President. He's so smart, intelligent, knowledgeable and advanced in technology, diplomatic and has tons of money, if he wants to be the next President, he can be, right?

Would like to know other people's thoughts please.

Super rich people want Name. Yeah, he's really famous and got a big name already; but President sounds good. LOL. Famous people want to be more famous. I know being a Presidents have to have lots of responsibilities and to deal with millions of issues. But strong people often want to test their strengths more and more. Unless he does not care about that, just relaxes and enjoys his wealth. That's okay, and I think that is for common people.

Bill Gates becoming president could potentially tarnish his noble reputation. I don't think it's a good idea, and let Trump be the last celebrity president.

Gates strikes me as someone who wants to be a more global force like he already is.
Also, as someone who wants to plunge into one issue at a time and find out everything about it. The presidency wouldn't let him do that.

Why would he want to? He answers to no one now and can do his philanthropic projects unimpeded.

Bill is not running.

Also, Bill is already focused on goals that impact the world. Becoming President would take away from his goals.
