BOTH sides spend like drunken soldiers. No one can deny that.
That is an insult to drunken soldiers. They spend their own money and insure a profit for the local businessmen. They are good folks blowing off steam and generally honest folks. They have no intent of turning their spending into immoral profits based on their connections to others in power.
Politicians spend other people's money, for their own self interest. They are pathetic, dishonest, corrupt and despicable. Every penny they spend is steeped in the ulterior motive of self interest and profit. If I were a drunken soldier, I would sue you for slander!
If you are retired and have no pension I know how good $1200 can sound and he can buy your vote - at least that is the idea Trump has in his head. I wonder how many votes Trump is going to buy though as he has become slow disaster as far as I am concerned check or no check

You are retired......? Are you living off of SS, pensions etc? If so, why did you deserve a check, when your situation has not changed? A friend of mine got one too, although his financial situation has not been changed in any way, except that he is spending less now than before.
Helping those who have lost their jobs is one thing, but just handing it out to everyone is nonsense.
The retirees deserve one because for years they supported the system that was paying for those before them. They deserve a check because their current spending is important to the economy, and this economy needs some infusion of spending right now.
Libs like you love to pick and choose who gets what based on their own opinion. My opinion is, the welfare recipients, illegals and people with any criminal record involving incarceration deserve nothing. You like my opinion? Well I don't like yours. So, the only fair solution is all or none, barring illegals. I get so tired of people like you who want to exclude the retirees who paid out the nose for years, while wanting to hand out money to people who have never done squat, or are not even here legally.
I had mines go through direct deposit because as any contractor whos done business with Trump will tell you: If you get a check with Trump's signature on it....run to the bank to deposit it before its too late.
