Because with this virus, you aren't only risking your life. You're risking the lives of others. If it were just you or any person who wants to be out and about being affected, I'd say go for it. But it's not that simple. It's like burning hazardous waste in your yard. You may have a right to do what you want on your property, but your freedom ends where my space begins.
How is someone isolated in their home being put at risk by me going to work, or the local coffee shop?
That is what it's going to come to, because we are not going to put up with this over the summer and we sure as hell are not going to let Bill Gates stamp us like cattle so can control our every move.
I will give this until May 1 and then I am going about my business. My hair salon is taking appointments for the first week in May. I will be there with bells on.
Now due to social pressure I will wear a mask and gloves but I will no longer put up with it after May 1,
Serious question. If you're afraid to end social distancing by going out, nothing is preventing you from cowering in fear for as many months as you like. And those of us who are willing to risk it can resume our normal lives.

And if private property owners were allowed to discriminate against who they want on their property/who to associate with/provide a service to/make a product for...then those who wish to go out could do so. Those who don't could stay home.
But alas, the baker must bake the gay wedding cake.
All the doctors and nurses I know are stretched beyond their limits right now. I feel terrible for them. Please be aware that one person's actions impact others beyond that one person.

Me going out doesn't affect you if you stay in your house. If you choose to go out, you accept the potential dangers associated with it. If you are afraid of the big bad COVID, stay home, then nothing anyone else does affects you.

Because you could be infected and not know it and transmit the virus to a person at work or in the local coffee shop. They can then bring it home to somebody isolated in their home whom they may live with or take care of like elderly relatives or even kids.
