There are plenty of people who aren't getting needed medical care because of the boot lickers... they do not are.

The boot lickers also refuse to remember that people who have antibodies can cure them with their blood so not sure why we are all hiding from the cure... other than CLEARLY people are milking this for all it is worth so they can stay home and watch netflix.
I don't know what other people are doing. My life really hasn't changed from pre-Covid days. We need more tests to know what we're dealing with. We don't have those. And not everybody who recovers from Covid has the necessary antibodies to protect them.

The "what then" is that this activity goes on frequently and repeatedly throughout the country then the virus blows up again and we end up worse off than we are now.

This is not the for sure outcome but it is the risk we take.

If it does happen then we will for sure get the "depression" where everybody starves and shoot themselves that the right wingers are so afraid of at present.

So why isn't phase one of opening up the economy focused on ESSENTIAL services only.......that might include major manufacturing facilities, medical services (outside of the COVID-19 issue).........

That would have made common sense.

Seems our federal govt. overlooked that.

Oh yeah and while mentioning measurable data as part of the process ---- they seem to be encouraging local officials to ignore data of any kind.

Why then include it in the policy.

This administration can't give a solid, focused, strategy with common sense in mind

They are reacting to emotional feelings being poured out by their constituents.

Huh? Someone who is living with a person who is leaving the house every day to work is not "isolated" in any way.

If people are really intending to isolate, they can't have any direct contact with anyone in the outside world. That should be self-evident.

I agree with the posters who have said that people who want to work and are willing to take their chances with getting this or any disease, should be able to do so. Those who feel the need to stay home and take extra precautions should do so. But you can't have it both ways--be quarantined while also living with people who are out and about. So some people may need to work out alternative living conditions, in the near future.

The risk to children is so small as to be negligible.

I work for a global company of 60,000 and 80% of our workforce is still operating as normal as an essential business. The company is taking every reasonable precaution against this disease and is still finding a way to keep people employed at a top rate and protect them in the process. We are blue collar workers who love America and know we will get through this just fine.

Stay scared and isolated, but don't take the rest of the country down your path of illogical fear. The leftist agenda is grossly obvious at this point and your game is going to get real old real damn fast.

If you haven't been paying attention, the official death tally has been DOUBLING every six days. If that trend continues, very very bad. If that begins to taper off, it's still bad, but getting better.

Ironically, INDIA, with a population of 1.2 billion, had only a few hundred deaths because of a NATIONWIDE LOCK DOWN.

But, big, tough Muricans will mill around in the streets, pounding their chests, while they infect or get infected, because they're FREE!
