I suppose it’s ‘racist’ or something to not admire the beautiful Indian culture of cheating, fraud and deceit.
I've been to India a handful of times. This culture you speak of around cheating, fraud, and deceit is one picked up in the US. It is not Indian culture, per say.

These consulting agencies apply American values to the way they practice as they bring in H1Bs from abroad. You see it in American, European, and South American consulting agencies as well. Indian consulting agencies stand out simply because the sheer number of people.

When you talk about percentages, you have to look at the population of India vs, say, Argentina. India produces many more professionals than smaller countries.

That being said, this temporary measure of minimizing travel is good. We should not just apply it to immigrants, but domestically as well. This virus can spread from anyone to anyone... and the US has many more cases than countries like India.

No, inherently they are criminals. That doesn't necessarily make them bad people, but let's not pretend they aren't criminals simply to make it easier for you to support them. They are part of a criminal slave class that a certain type of person wants to exploit for profit.

Do you think all those waiting to immigrate are doctors, nurses, pharmacists and lab techs?

I don't care what Trump does about immigration, we all know how he feels about immigrants that aren't his wives. I'm curious if this will affect immigrant farmers since these government funded farmers rely heavily on immigrant labor. Maybe they will make harvesting a condition of receiving unemployment benefits or Social Security.

They should stay where they are unless Americans need those jobs.

The legal consensus is that they need to have committed a crime to be a criminal. Simply entering the US is not a crime. Re-entering the US after being deported, however, is a crime. Stealing identity is a crime as well. Employing people without documentation to work in the US is a crime. Laws do matter in the US, whether you like it or not.

I noticed you pointed out how I support them. Unfortunately, I pay taxes and have no choice. You may not be a productive member of society who is forced to support them since you don't pay taxes, but that's not all of us.

That being said, this thread is about immigrants who were to come to the US to work here legally.

But better late than never I guess...
