And what are your numbers that show that they are 'preventing' the disease better than here in the US?

This thread is funny, and probably emblematic of CD in general. Folks taking a look at ostensibly the same data, latching onto the bits and pieces that fits their group think, and coming to totally different conclusions. It'd be amusing, if one doesn't think to hard about it.
I got acute bronchitis twice last year from a low wage job and awful health care. If I had better access...

Well, Sweden had 10 times as many deaths as their neighbors, so in that sense their approach sounds reckless. In the other hand if it resulted in herd immunity, then it might be worth it, because over time their neighbors will continue to suffer more deaths and eventually catch up with Sweden. Time will tell. Its good to have one example of another approach.

In the meanwhile in NYC, 14% of the population already have antibodies in their system, so they are getting closer to herd-immunity.

j You do get that the stay home because of COVID 19 means that the flu is not 'spreading'. One of the biggest problems with the flu is school systems and those were shut down early -- not because COVID was a threat to the kids -

And the numbers are still being produced -- you arent hearing about them. That's not the same as no one is dying from it.

It's a way of life issue........millions of people packed into a few square miles in high rise apartments and 90% of them using public transportation daily.

Urban lifestyles build a fantastic environment from the virus's point of view.
There was a statement that most of the deaths are in NYC, that's incorrect at present.

Yes, dense cities with high use of crowded public transportation are at a huge disadvantage for handling an epidemic. That's obvious.

Not sure why, everyone is going to die. It's one of the few facts we know for certain.

This matter is one of personal responsibility. Don't take the ADVICE of health experts seriously and quarantine as a high-risk individual? Do so at your own peril.

The NY Times and a rep from Michigan already told us that the numbers are fudged. That cases where NO ONE TESTED POSITIVE for the virus are being counted as corona deaths. The Michigan rep stated that the 7 page order to mark all deaths as corona virus deaths came from the MN Dept of Health.

But sure, the lunatics who want to keep the country shut down are the intelligent ones who never ask questions, nor do they ever answer questions. They just insult and blame Trump, and call everyone else "selfish" and "dangerous' if people don't agree with them - those who sit in their high chairs with their bibs on, giant plastic spoon in hand, banging away on their trays begging for more government overreach.

This isn't about safety, despite how many bleat about it. It has nothing at all to do with "safety".
^^^^This. All of it!
