There will be about 600,000 people. ... The Public Health Authority study comes to the same results as the mathematician Tom Britton’s calculations. This weekend he presented a study which also indicates that 30 percent of the population in Stockholm has had covid-19.
We (Americans) stayed at home so that the hospitals wouldn't be overwhelmed. They weren't.
While it may be a while before we go to concerts, sporting events, or other large group gatherings, it is time to let businesses reopen and get the economy cranking again. Elderly, compromised, etc remain cloistered.

They wouldn't have been overwhelmed anyways since most who catch the virus have no symptoms.
But because of the lockdowns, nurses and other medical personnel have actually been laid off from their jobs because most hospitals are sitting empty.
Why won't people just admit that they were wrong?
The lockdown thing was completely unnecessary.
Trump was wrong, the democrats were wrong, Fauci was wrong, Bill Gates was wrong.

If you've had "the flu" 10x in your life, it's likely 3x were actually corona and not influenza.
You do understand that the influenza test will return a positive, regardless of the strain of influenza, right?

The point being the test may actually be detecting other corona virus strains and not specifically COVID-19.
So the other corona viruses are still spreading even with social distancing? That would make them quite contagious.
Or perhaps anti-bodies do tend to stick around for all corona viruses, which would be a bit of good news.
I have been watching Sweden much closer than anywhere else, regarding this pandemic.
At this point I wished I had learned to speak and read Swedish when I had the chance, but I did not.
I have friends and relatives there now.
From what I can gather, Swedes are very much aware of this virus, but living life as before for the most part. It seems in some more rural areas is where it is being treated with the social isolation method.
Yes, im from Sweden but I live in The USA now. My family is still in Sweden. My parents are self isolating because they are in the risk group being older. My other family members and friends are all working. Some chose to go outside to restaurants and such but they try to not sit on top of eachother. People are acting smart.
Eh? What socialist system? We have an unfettered, out of control capitalist system. And no, it's not working. Making money out of people's healthcare is fundamentally incompatible with having their best interests at heart.
We have a fine test run of socialism going on right now? How are you liking it? Well, maybe you're one of those making more sitting around and collecting unemployment and a $15 an hour bonus, rather than working. In that case, I can see the lockdown being pretty popular.
