Exactly.

It's like talking to a brick wall ...

Our parks have been closed since March 23. Last weekend I saw a group of 3 dozen or so having a child's birthday party in the park. The big signs saying "park is closed" couldn't be missed as they trucked all the food from the parking lot to the picnic tables. Dumbasses think the rules don't apply to them.
Crap like this happening everywhere. LE shows, points to the signage and asks people to leave. Some get nasty and pull the “ you are a public servant” card.

She goaded the arrrsting Officer and made sure her friend was filming the arrest.

I do think the lockdowns have been too stringent and even illogical in places, but this isn't a case of a mom innocently trying to enjoy a park with her kids.

Thanks for the backstory.

Sell it off. Make it private and build a wall around it.
I want a room at the WH, public property. Do you think I will be allowed to walk in, let alone pull up my moving van?

Here in the Houston metro, in Harris County (the third most populous county in the country) the 29 year old County Judge (essentially the CEO of the county, and it is an elected position) instituted a mask/face covering requirement that will last for 30 days starting on Monday. If you are out in public and are not either eating, drinking a beverage, driving, exercising, or are alone or are only with family (I may be forgetting one other exception) and your mouth and nose are covered they can get you for a Class C misdemeanor. Her (the 29 year old is a woman) equivalent in my county (Montgomery, the next county north) says there is no basis in law for this and that he's not doing it, and her equivalent in Galveston County (directly south and bordering the Gulf) says the action is unconstitutional. A guy who was behind me in line at a convenience store said he read on a Facebook site that is affiliated with the Houston PD that Houston PD isn't going to enforce this executive order.
Because FB is a reliable source of news.

it's awesome how so many conservatives, who are for, "law and order," don't actually like obeying the law themselves, and are very much in favor for disorder, and lawlessness. Good job conservatives!

“Rules for thee, but not for me!”

The sov-cit nonsense on display in some of these posts is absolutely comical.

There's no way that mother should have been arrested. Cited or warned? Sure. Arrested? Too far. That cop probably did more harm arresting that mother than she did taking her kids to a playground.

She was warned countless times.

Did you even watch the video? She explicitly asked for the officer to arrest her. If she had asked for a warning, it wouldn't have supported her public stunt.

Will also add (not implying you agree though), that it is awesome how so many conservatives have been mocking people over the years, telling them to "pull their boot straps up" regarding their jobs and pay, and essentially telling them if they do not like it, do something about it, move, get a new skill, etc.

Well, here we are, conservatives complaining about their job? Well, go get a new skill that is still being employed right now, go move to an area where they are hiring, pull your selves up by the boot straps.

Will not even get into their complaints about losing healthcare coverage due to job loss...like duh, that is one of the cornerstones of universal coverage advocacy, to not tie it to employment.
