I just read an article on the fox news web site that paramedics can no longer revive people who have heart attacks, when they show no pulse.
I guess that means these people who rely on paramedics are $hit out of luck when it comes to saving their lives.

Aren't these paramedics the same people we tax payers are funding?

This reeks of no equal representation.
For years I paid my taxes,as did millions of others, and part of those taxes went to fund paramedics in my area.
Now, should I have a heart attack, I can no longer count on paramedics to at least try to revive me.
Something is very wrong with this picture, to the point of being unconstitutional.

Not really accurate. Not all paramedics are tax funded. Also, there are parameters for cpr that were revised due to coronavirus. Basically, people with unwitnessed cardiac arrest in asystole are not being aggressively revived. These people already have a very low chance of survival.

With this new mandate, they have no chance at survival.

I believe some paramedics are volunteer. So if you're a volunteer responder & the city needs you. Yet you don't want to increase the chances of catching COVID-19 you probably have a good leg to stand on.

That;s your problem. Turn off fox news.

This was a report from a couple of weeks ago during the height of the NYC covid19 infections. Paramedics in the NYC area were getting so many calls from people to homes, that the paramedics were having to prioritize. I don't know if the report is even true.
