This thread is to list the good things Trump has done since becoming president. I've heard about some of the genuinely nice things he's done, and they always go under-reported, for various reasons.

Virtually every thread in this forum about him is centered on how awful whatever he said or did is, in the eyes of the author. Let's keep this one positive. You have a million other threads to complain in, so only contribute if you can keep your emotions in check.

Please cite a source, as we all know how the rabid anti-Trump posters on here like to claim that nothing good about Trump could possibly be true.

I'll start with this.

It's well known that president Trump donates his salary from the presidency to various agencies & causes.

My number one is that he cut taxes for most tax payers.

I provided a link to the most trusted name in fake news, so leftists should be good with it.
CNN: Here's who's winning under Trump's tax law
NY Times: Face It: You (Probably) Got a Tax Cut

April 8, 2017, he attempted to put a stop to Syrian chemical attacks on civilians.

U.S., Russia clash at U.N. over chemical weapons attacks in Syria

He deserves credit for that.

He's an isolationist. I guess there are two sides to that coin but the one side is worn and weathered from decades of pointless military hegemony so I guess that's a good thing.

Got additional gun control laws passed where his predecessor would have never dared to go. Ironically it still isnt enough for the supporters of his predecessor even though their guy did nothing.

I’m not a fan of this President, but I’ll give him credit for meeting with Kim jong un.
It was worth a try.

I’ll give him credit for talking about the problems caused by “free trade” with China and other cheap labor countries. Most of it is empty rhetoric, of course, but at least he talks about it.

This was before he was elected, but I'll include it anyway.

Trump donated the use of his private 727 to transport a sick child from Los Angeles to New York for treatment.

I'll even link to Snopes on this. There's no more credible source for the detractors out there.
