What if China decided that civilian gun violence was an issue America was responsible for. Would you sign off on letting them conduct whatever investigation they wanted?
Not surprised at all. For years, The Chinese government has been deceitful and secretive about everything. Had they come forward last year and divulged information on this virus, there's a very good chance all this could have been avoided. But it doesn't surprise me because they've sent us tainted dog food, defective products that have injured people, supplied defective bolts used on our bridges, toxic sheet rock we used in new home developments. It's been an endless stream of that have hurt or even caused the death of many ordinary citizens, all around the world. Even their own citizens, which is shameful.
I've been hoping for decades that something, possibly economically, that would spur American companies to bring back manufacturing, pharmaceutical development and provide jobs to the people of this country. If they did, our unemployment numbers would barely reach 1%.
I didn't want it to be lives lost but if this is what it takes, then it needs to happen. If our government continues to work with China after their reluctance to divulge what happened and why this virus started, then they should pay the consequences. I've heard (cannot verify yet) that a lawsuit has been filed against the Chinese government by Americans over the loss of lives due to this virus. Should be interesting to see if it's true and what happens going forward.
Neither do Wuhan people, which some ignorant Americans still don't know.
