Only reason there is a less than living wage without benefits is that people accept it. Coming out of this shut down is the perfect time to demand better.

Nonsense. Supply and demand. Economics 101.

You get a skill set that is demand, big leg up. Flipping burgers and demanding high wages is stupid to the point of being infantile.

That's fine and all. A little bit of inflation is desirable. But remember, those earning less than livable wages will still be earning less than livable wages if they get a raise, after inflation takes a bite out of their paycheck's spending power. That's the way it has always been. Expecting it to change in an environment where fast food jobs have replaced career manufacturing jobs is laughable.

Exactly. There is x supply of workers for a given wage y. Fewer x’s out there via unions or what have you raises y.

Historically the period after a pandemic is a rare historical opportunity for the working and middle class to improve their lot at scale.

No need for inflation either. Just a bigger slice of the pie. Middle and working class wages have not followed GDP growth since the 80s while the top 0.01% has soared.

Middle class was sold a pack of lies blaming our loss of manufacturing on unions rather than just greed driving the offshoring and political corruption to enable it.

Government isn’t going to fix it. We the people just need to demand better before the middle class is further wiped out.

Well of course technically that's correct. But in reality, this statement is highly misleading.

It's technically correct to say that Bernie Sanders represents 1/50 of the Senate, isn't it? But in reality he represents about 45% of Democrats. She is a very close associate of Sanders and his appointed surrogate. It can logically and reasonably be inferred that his supporters would also support her. In fact, no less than the chairman of the Democratic National Committee believes that this idiot is "the future face of the Democratic party"!

I live only about 20 miles east of her district. There is no chance that she can be defeated in the primary. She has raised WAY MORE money that all her opponents combined. And there's more coming if needed. That's because she has made herself into a national figure, a darling of the left. At the snap of her fingers she could have thousands of volunteers from all over the country swarming her district.

The only positive I can say about her is that she is not evil, just ignorant and stupid. There are two other new and radical Dem congresswomen, Omar and Tlaib, who ARE evil. They are much more dangerous than this silly little girl. In fact, I think this girl will be good for Republicans in that she is pulling the party to the radical left. The Democratic establishment has endorsed her Green New Mess. Radical leftism (or radical rightism) will not win a presidential election.
Could not agree with you more

Hallelujah! We're saved!
More like "Viva La Revolution" for a Leftist Socialist. Like other Socialists in the Americas she will do them proud and lay ruin to everything she touches, along with her Islamist associates.
