After the Trump Administration announced that they would be "winding down" the Task Force, Trump does a 180 and now says the task force will remain, for now.

Its as if we elected Joseph Hazelwood to drunkenly captain our country. Pathetic.

The task force will be "very focused" on the development of a coronavirus vaccine and treatments, the president said.
In other words, do NOT talk to the public about continuing spread. Or what the Federal Government is doing to counter it. Or how the Federal Government can work with states and hospitals. Or what the public can and should be doing.
Medical laboratories work to develop vaccines. Medical professionals explore different treatments. Sure, make announcements about their key findings - and skip the Dr. Trump show. But even with this announcement, Trump still is weaseling out of what should be HIS responsibilities - responding effectively to the pandemic.
This country continues to be in the midst of one of the worst public health and economic crises of the century. And what do we can get from Trump these days: appearances on Fox News while he sends up a shill to conduct WH press conferences. That there is no one responsible and competent to appear before the American public on a regular basis is a travesty.

Developing story. Remember when Jared Kushner was put in charge of ramping up America's medical supplies during the worst days of the NYC COVID-19 pandemic?
Well, apparently that process was managed SO poorly, and there were so many questionable/unethical actions, that somebody who was working for Kushner on this project is planning to file a formal whistleblower complaint.
