During a conversation on Jan. 21, Xi reportedly asked Tedros not to announce that the virus could be transmitted between humans and to delay any declaration of a coronavirus pandemic.
Well that's odd because on Jan. 20 the WHO and China confirmed that human-to-human transmission had occurred.

It took until the end of January before the WHO declared that the coronavirus outbreak needed to receive international attention.
No, on January 30th the WHO declared the outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. The CDC had already ramped up its Emergency Operations Center back on Jan. 20.
This article seems full of half-truths. I have little doubt though that China has concealed some data, presumably because it would look damaging.
"If we did very little testing, [America] wouldn't have the most cases," Trump said Wednesday. "So, in a way, by doing all of this testing, we make ourselves look bad."
Err... he just blew my mind. Clearly "not looking bad" is the priority there.
If you don't get tested then you're not infected. Is that what he's saying?

"I will tell you, you look at some cases, some people think they're doing it for politics," Trump said on Fox News Channel. "Here we go again. But they think they're doing it because it'll hurt me, the longer it takes to — hurt me in the election, the longer it takes to open up."
So we’re supposed to be in lockdown for two years or more until the vaccine is developed?
I would assume most doctors, scientists, democrats, and concerned republicans would accept the Trump White House's "Guidelines for Opening Up America Again, three-phased approach."
I think it's time to end the shutdowns and I will be shopping at businesses that I deem are operating safely: i.e. employees wearing masks and social distancing being maintained.
Just addressing the bull**** theories that recessions lead to more deaths. Yes, more dopers and crazies die but a lot more cheeseburger eaters are saved.
I don't tell half truths or lies to advance my agenda. I find it pukeworthy.
As the State of Georgia opens up ---- Emory --- a prestigous medical center in the heart of ATlanta steps up its COVID policies.
Have a friend whose husband has been going through radiation proton type kind of chemo (I can't remember the full, proper name but intense treatment for brain cancer). He's been going through treatments for the last couple of months.
TODAY.....they have added further restrictions. Emory is isolating who can come into the hospital at all.....the wife of the husband has not been allowed to get into the building to attend appointments etc.
This is a little eye opener for me. As we keep hearing how the country is opening up -- a prestigious medical facility is getting tighter with their policies to mitigate the spread.
Hmmmm -- makes you realize that this hoax is so intricately crafted ---
