Every pseudo-conservative Trump supporter (individual or corporation) embrace socialist when they start receiving other peoples money from the government.
You have to wonder how many of these free market companies are alive due to constant turning of loans.
With not enough cash reserves. I could see small business which runs on a constant need of money flowing through the cash register.
Large Corp. needing a cash infusion for a 5 or 6 week shut down is a sign of bad management.
Am I the only one who sees the hypocrisy? I mean if capitalism is the survival of those best able to compete and provide what consumers want, why should the government even think of getting involved. Especially at the multi TRILLION dollar level? Capitalism theory would say, let them fail.
The government has closed their business's, if the market was totally free they would decide to close or stay open.
There is local store that sells hardware so they are allowed to stay open. They also have dealerships for a major bicycle company and chainsaw/lawn equipment company, both are very big sellers at this time of the year. All the competition for both products are closed. Having that hardware was like hitting the lottery as far business is concerned. Not really a free market is it?
Agree. Amazing how liberals can’t make these distinctions.
They are grabbing at straws and making ridiculous posts, aren't they? All in order to promote and justify a Totalitarian OPPRESSIVE form of Government.
The loudest supporters of the free market system, the capitalists and industrialists, now are the first yammering for government support and handouts, just like those other stalwarts of capitalism, the banks, did 12 years ago.
Am I the only one who sees the hypocrisy? I mean if capitalism is the survival of those best able to compete and provide what consumers want, why should the government even think of getting involved. Especially at the multi TRILLION dollar level? Capitalism theory would say, let them fail. Socialism would be concerned about the human factor, the workers, who would be harmed by those failures.
So, is the USA a socialist nation now?
Muddying then water to promote your slavery, aren’t you?
“ nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.”
Causing the issue, and then rushing in with boatloads of money to 'rescue' everyone is how socialists operate. If you like it, then continue voting for socialists like Trump, etc, and if you don't like it, then vote for people like Rand Paul.
