They were hoping to not put the burden on the hospital for those who did not need hospitalization -- so they gave guidelines to care for those residents in the homes.

It calls for isolation, care, etc. And it is all recommended care for those that did not need hopsitalization.

Nobody ordered these people to death.

Retirement homes, long term faiclities around the world have the highest rate of deaths.

NEw York State is not out of line with all those states.

The nature of the disease suggested that even with hospitalization, the seniors are more inclined.

All of this is a political ploy from Republicans/conservatives and is disgustingly inhumane.

In one post many of those here are posting that this demographic just needs to stay home -- and they are on their own to look after themsevles, the country can't be shut down to care for them.

And then the next ---- they use the vulnerability of this demographic to try and gain political points.

It's sick.

I appreciate the guidelines I have posted are long to read and reading is hard, but if you took the time to read -- you would see the TAsk Force and CDC issued guidelines that had the positive seniors that didn't need hopsitalization to be cared in these community residents.

Another reason to vote Trump out.

It is clear that Trump fans are defensive given Trump's chaotic leadership during this health crisis and so they have to find a counter argument.

All in all -- if our federal govt. had done their job properly, the states would have had clear guidelines to follow and there would have been a better response.

It's not Trump's job to hold every state governor's hand so they don't kill their own people. If you want to live in a country where all the directions and orders come from the top, you want a dictatorship. Go move to N.K. or China. In the USA, we expect ALL our elected officials to be competent and well meaning, but apparently, that is too much to ask, because lefties vote for incompetent morons who happen to be good at reading off teleprompters.
