Trump warned us to protect our borders and be mindful of who we let in.
Trump warned us to bring manufacturing back home.
Trump warned us to be less dependent on other countries.
Trump warned us not to trust China.
Democrats fought him every step of the way. Nancy Pelosi ripped up his SOTU address.
Remember that in November when you vote!

Ugh, I did it again, I hit rep when I meant to hit quote. Please deduct one rep point.

Anyway, I'm not sure who you're yelling at, but every rational person I know is well aware that things were said and done early on that were wrong. Democrats did it. Republicans did it. So what??? No one knew what we were dealing with back then, and there is still much unknown.

This kind of Democrat vs Republican crap is one reason I can't in clear conscious affiliate with either party.

States are actually expanding and extending their lockdown orders. This could get interesting.

I'm curious, which states? Where I live (USVI) we are largely reopening on Monday, with some rules (masks or other facial covering is required to enter ANY business, businesses must provide hand sanitizer, for example).

Trump warned us to protect our borders yet has only added 3 miles to the border wall.
Trump warned us to bring manufacturing back home... and hasn't.
Trump warned us to be less dependent on other countries... and we still are.
Trump warned us not to trust China.... and?

He does a lot of talk but not much actual results on those fronts. Anyone can recognize possible problems. Actually executing sound solutions is a different matter entirely.

Trump already knows he’s a dead man walking.

He’s forming a transition team now as I type.

Good riddance.

Our country is following Italy's example.

Social distancing - protesting - re-open the country - death death and more death, hospitals are completely overrun - the whole country locked down COMPLETELY (police and soldiers guard the country)

well, either we suck it up and do the social distancing business, or summer gives us a break, or they lock down the country 100%.

I can't even imagine what is going to happen in the future.

The vast majority who freak out at the very thought of stepping outside their homes are definitely left leaning.
Do you know anybody who votes Democratic? Have you ever spoken to any?

FWIW, left leaners have jobs, pay taxes, care for the families, friends and neighbors who are all in the same boat.

Thinking people would wish this pandemic on any society to influence an election is weird.

Being so suspicious of your fellow countrymen must be hard.

As far as I know, there are NO states that have yet met the requirements to start phase 1 of Trumps re opening plan.

The first requirement is that states have 2 straight weeks of falling numbers, here in KY, our numbers are steadily rising every day, OH is too.
