And just what were the [expert] advisers saying?
In Jan., Fauci claimed 'it wasn't a problem'.
In late Feb., Fauci claimed 'it wasn't a problem, that people should continue to go about their daily lives. Buth that could change'.
Other expert advisers were saying similar.

Despite the nothing burger advice that Trump was getting from the experts, Trump assembled a task force in Jan, and was raked over the coals for it being made up of mainly old white guys. I guess you think those old white guys were simply playing tiddly winks for the next few months, eh?

When Trump put in travel restrictions in Jan he was raked over the coals by the left, congress, and in the leftist media. You think those congress members, Pelosi and Schumer, etc., were not aware of what was going on in China? They probably knew, but by their words and actions it is obvious that they did not care.

WHO was covering their butts by inserting the word "clear" in their comment, same as Fauci including the comment "but that could change".

So you are saying we need intel community to verify if WHO and/or CCP is full of **** about a new emerging diseases? And why are we paying half a billion dollars to an org like WHO if we don't trust them?

Trump imposed China travel ban in late Jan and guess what Biden and Pelosi were saying about that ban?

That seems to be Fauci's go-to every 10 minutes. The guy who predicted this in 2017 and knew it was coming did nothing at all, and even today, he still doesn't know what's going on.

"Uh uhhh the virus may come back in the fall and we may need to shutdown again...or extend the shutdown.....or it might go away....errr....idk but BRAD PITT PLAYED ME ON SNL GUYS!"

There were some complaints, just like there are complaints when ANY president does ANYTHING. There was not an uproar.

didn't WHO say in January that human to human transmission was not possible with corona-virus?

We should believe them?

So a Chinese propaganda agency suggests that we should have listened to their Chinese propaganda back in January when they were telling people that there was no evidence of person to person transmission of COVID-19?

Smart.

This was after three major airlines had already suspended travel to China, and it was a Chinese passport-holder ban, not a Chinese travel ban. Everyone else was still allowed in without screening, so 430,000 people came in unscreened.

I think he got the travel "ban" right, except for not instituting screening. We knew that the virus was theoretically bad, but it was "over there". Going by the knowledge we had at the time, it's understandable that he didn't take things that seriously.

But that excuse doesn't cover what he has done since. He's made a big mess of things and people have died needlessly.

This is a novel coronavirus and we're learning more about it as time goes on, including Dr. Fauci. That's kinda how science works and I know it's frustrating when people want all the answers up front.

No, they did NOT. They said they didn't know if it could be spread that way. Big difference.
