Utterly shameless in making such a statement.

Ghebreyesus suggested that some outbreaks could have been less extreme if government leaders adopted containment measures earlier to manage the virus' spread. He noted that when WHO declared an international health emergency on January 30, only 82 cases had been identified across 18 countries outside of China, with no deaths reported.

"The world should have listened to WHO then, carefully," he said, pointing out that nations could have implemented protocols to address the pandemic upon the declaration's release. "Every country could have triggered all its public health measures possible," Ghebreyesus added. "I think that suffices the importance of listening to WHO's advice."

We had intel. We had doctors at WHO. Trump had multiple briefing papers specifically telling of the risk. His own advisers were informing him. He went golfing, lied and downplayed the risk to try to save his election chances. Stop trying to blame China and the WHO. It was Trump's job to act responsibly and faithfully on the information he clearly had. He failed and thousands died and the economy is in tatters because of that failure.

Why does US INTEL have to babysit WHO? That's just automatically assuming they're going to be useless at best and spread dangerously damaging political propaganda at worst, killing many, which is exactly what they did.

So you are saying WHO is useless and untrustworthy?

Well, I guess Trump is right about withdrawing all funding from WHO
