Yes, he did. And it's understandable that he didn't feel he had the political capital it would have taken to stand in the way of the lock-down that the "experts" and the masses of media morons were insisting upon. Too little was known in the beginning.
But now the mistake has been crystal clear for a couple of weeks, perhaps more. Still we don't see the decisive President we elected. We see him chastising the Governor of Georgia and continuing to go along with the woefully misguided program.
Does he think he's saving face by staying the course that hurts the most people? Best thing, by far, he could have done for the country and for himself politically was decisively change course and immediately get us back on track.
It's a mystery. It wouldn't have taken admission of a mistake and most certainly not on his part. It would be decisive action taken based on new facts on the ground in a fast-changing picture. His stock remains in free-fall every day of inaction.
What do you mean, too little was known? Almost 60,000 people have died in the US in just a few weeks. We know that. Some of you still refuse to see that this is not the bloody flu! Tell me the last time the flu killed 60,000 Americans in 6 weeks. Mostly in two states.
The New York Times, Washington Post and just about ALL the cable and network sources are DEMOCRAT PROPAGANDA. They are NOT credible at all. You've been vaping weed too much.

The NYT and WaPo both print columns from conservatives.
Their editorial content is predominately left leaning yes but their news still has much better quality sources than a low budget rag like the Washington Times.
If you're going to cite a conservative news source, at least use one with a history of good reporting and good sources. The WSJ would be one such example.

Not to mention the fact that there is no vaccine and incredibly limited resources (ie doctors, nurses, protective gear, and ventilators) available to help not only those who fall ill with it, but also those who fall ill with other conditions that also need immediate attention.
People are just selfish and dont understand (or care to understand) things that don't directly impact them.
Satan told Trump his quota was a million Americans and we're only at 60,000.
