The Media is no longer a true watchdog. They are mostly a Democrat propaganda outlet so Democrats don't get scrutinized nearly as much. No Media attention, no Public Outrage and NO CHANGE.

A person can still run as an Independent, and get onto all the States ballots...I think. If so, we choose whomever we feel is the least corrupt DC politician (because they know how the game is rigged more than outsiders would), and we all vote for that person. I have 2 candidates, and I can easily proove that they are the least corrupt of them all in 7 words.
