‘World vs. Virus’: Trump White House selling coronavirus souvenir coins:....
Quote:
Nothing says "I survived a global coronavirus pandemic that killed hundreds of thousands" like a nifty coin with U.S. President Donald Trump's name and tweets emblazoned on it.
The White House gift shop unveiled its contribution to the fight against COVID-19 on Wednesday, with a new commemorative coin that presents the pandemic in the war-like terms that Trump often uses on Twitter and in press conferences.
How about all the good - like the coins commemorating front line workers and nurses where 20% of the profits are donated to medical research like John Hopkins to hwlp with pandemic diseases.
10 to 1 - they will sell out unlike the Easter eggs and Bobble head dolls from Obama's Presidency.

Really this is about as American as it gets. Somebody always manages to find a way to make a buck off of everything. I wonder when Trump will have a tie made commemorating this.
It is an attempt to make Trump look "presidential" since his actions have failed to do so. People don't like to remove a war time president in the middle of a war, so they must pretend he is some kind of Churchill with great words...err...tweets inspiring a nation.
