Too bad, liberals. Covid 19 hit just a bit too soon for you (bias, vs)

Too bad for you that Covid 19 hit us in March and you were able to lock us down in April and May and perhaps longer in some areas. But the warm weather, and the mask wearing and social distancing and just the general knowledge by a lot of people that our freedoms are being taken away should bring things back to a relative normal by September. If this virus had hit us in July or A ugust for the first time, Trump would have been dead in the water by election day.
Of course, you forgot that September onward is also when the viral season kicks off each year as it gets colder... . November could be right when the second wave is kicking in..
As if anyone needed proof, the pandemic has proven Trump is not up to the job. He will lose.
How so? I actually think this helps Trump. The only think that would take Trump down is if the death count spikes between now and the election. Honestly, I wouldn't bet on that, at least nothing crazy. As long as we don't project to go over that revised 200K death count I don't see any of this really hurting Trump.
The biggest thing to hurt him might be the fact that Hillary isn't running. Biden might have his issues but he's a whole lot more likable than Hillary. We will see how that plays out.

I don't think it will matter. I think the economic issues of this will stick and hurt Trump. The freeze for six/seven weeks will hurt the economy and incumbents typically are blamed for economic woes going into their re-election. The Payment Protection Program and stimulus both have been riddled with issues. I say both have been worse in rollout than ObamaCare and I mocked that (not as vocally and maybe not as much on here, but I have.) If people could not get unemployment and their jobs aren't in the re-opening plans, it is gonna hurt. If re-opening isn't enough for businesses due to budgeting.
How nice of you to minimize and politicize the deaths of nearly 70,000 fellow Americans
How nice of you to minimize taking away tens of millions of people's basic freedoms, way of life, and ability to earn a living.
Life's a game. You play your cards and you take your chances. I for one am not going to remain locked down indefinitely until the government says all is well, which might be 3 years from now. There has to be a balance between "people are going to die" and freedoms.
