Olesya Suspitsyna, a Kazakh national who was working as a tour guide in Turkey, died after falling off a cliff in Duden Park, Antalya on Sunday, according to the New York Post.
The 31-year-old climbed over a safety barrier to pose for a photograph with the park's famous waterfalls in the background when she slipped on the grass and fell.
..."Climbed over a safety fence"...
What could go wrong?
I swear to God, people are getting dumber by the decade.
Years back there would be no safety fence. Back then you were free to take your chances. May be less stupidity and more just plain clumsy. I have approached many cliffs and high places while hiking. I’m aware of the risk and willing to assume it for the view and the experience. If I die like that then so be it. I love wild outdoor places and I see it as worth the risk. Of course I try to be very careful while in places like that. Still something could happen anytime I go into a place such as that.

I bet they got tired of "very careful" people like yourself falling off the cliff and dying...so they built a safety fence. You reckon?

I've never thought a view from 10 feet from the edge of a cliff would be that much different than from 2 feet away.
Now, there might be some paths that are a bit treacherous.
