Military widow here. So many were on the military and learned to obey how to dig a ditch a certain way- and now can’t even hunker for awhile. We are not ready for a war of any type.

We're here, none-the-less, and I'm sorry for your loss. The military does not stop fighting, because one was lost within their ranks, or two were lost or thousands were lost --- the fight for life continues for those still living.
The State, however, will survive the war ... it always does.
