Maybe this is acceptable in states like Florida and Georgia but I would hope that would not be the case in your state. Two people in a pickup truck playing vigilante would certainly draw community opposition in just about every state.
And here's the thing -- even if the guy was stealing a hammer --- there is no justification for anybody being killed for stealing a hammer.

The entire crux of the incident is this: Did Arbery attack the shooter & try to take his gun away from him?
You are arguing that the person being chased by at least 2 carloads of loaded gun toting guys willing to kill him is the aggressor ????
Well, yeah. Even if you have a gun, if I choose to charge at you and start throwing punches, I'm the aggressor...and in that scenario, you'd be a fool NOT to shoot me.

That is just reddit showing what some think is a hammer. It also says he was wearing boots, which he clearly was not. Look at the video of him inside the house. No boots, no hammer. Was he hiding them up his anus?
