Are you really trying to argue that the tubby guy with the shotgun was going to beat or even attempt a foot race with Arbery? LOL c'mon man.

Had Arbery kept running once he passed the truck, the guy with the shotgun would have just gotten back in the truck and continued to follow him.
The actual start of the attack is not visible but from the sound of the first shot it was likely close to the right front of the vehicle and then spilled across to the left. That first shot got Arbery in the hand/wrist indicating he likely had the hand on the barrel of the weapon.

Wether or not what they did was rational I suggest no one ever run up to a guy with a firearm in his hands and try to take it. I don’t care if you’re totally convinced he’s a good guy or a bad guy. Chances are if he’s either you will get shot.

They damn sure should’ve. And if they could do it all over again, they would’ve let him skip, crawl, run backwards, or even breakdance past the truck. Believe that.

But it’s too damn late now. They messed up big time.

So the father and son have different attorneys? Lol...the father is gonna throw his son under the Mack truck to get his own ass out of the hoosegow. Watch.

Th owner of that house just said that Arbery apparently had been doing nothing more than drinking some water from a source on the property, and that not only is nothing missing, but that people in that neighborhood OFTEN trespass through the property to look at the house.

That’s not good for the father & son hayseeds.

That would have been a smart move

Yeah I think it was fun for them.

You misunderstood me if you thought I was admitting that Arbery was the criminal responsible for thefts in this neighborhood. There is absolutely no evidence of that as far as I know.

There was nothing stopping him from continuing well past the truck. They had plenty of time to shoot him from the moment they saw him. Videos don’t lie. The final outcome is on him.

Who has ever suggested you run up to a good or bad guy from that distance and try to take their firearm? Are you suggesting Arbery would not have shot them with that firearm?

He might’ve and should’ve...if he got ahold of the weapon. That’s what I would’ve done.

Travis was on his way to the front of the truck with his gun in hand to confront him.

Arberry tried to flee multiple times. He was done with that and moved to fight.

Doesnt matter if it was a smart choice, they instigated the whole situation and created a whole threatening scenario that put Arberry in that fight/flight mode.

You dont get to claim self defense when you started it all.
