Did the person getting body slammed/taken down do anything to provoke such response? There's this saying I was taught when I was a kid which has helped me through my teen, young adult life: "Mess with the bull and you're going to get the horns". Enough said.
The failure to wear a mask in public should be mandatory as Covid 19 rages on. There is a serious need for public education as to the use of masks. Many people think the masks are for their protection. Actually, the masks are for the protection of others. Of course we have a certain number of people who could care less about the welfare of others and thumb their noses at wearing one. Number one offender, Trump. Then we have the Trump cultist who follow their dear leader's rule of "no masks."
I applaud the actions of this officer. If we find people who don't want to wear a mask they should be locked up in a communal arena with others of their kind. All it takes is one person who is infected, showing symptoms or not, to infect up to 2800 people in three days.
One person who is infected is a far greater threat to society than a squad of crazies with automatic weapons. Why should we treat them any differently?
