It wasn't a closed event. It was known about before hand. No one stopped anyone from attending.
Where is your proof that white men also showed up specifically to escort this lady? You're just making things up to fit an agenda.

I stopped reading after your first accusatory paragraph, since you’ve already shown your disgusting bias against conservatives. Liberals turn everything into being a racist. I said that affirmative action should be based in SES, since it is more fair to everyone, and liberals called me a racist for that! I called out that big rampage of black-against-Jew violence in NY, and was called a racist for that (while liiberals were blaming the Jews themselves). You are in no position to judge prejudice.

Glad to see they volunteered, but the headline made it seem the she wanted to make a point by doing so.
It seems they are the ones focusing on the racial aspects when the protesters were about rights and freedom not race. Did they do anything criminal or against the law?
The question you have to ask is this. Why were the crowd of armed protesters not reflective of the racial demographics of the state? Why did some members of that crowd carry symbols of racial hatred and guns? Actions create equal and opposite reaction. A crowd of white with guns, carrying signs of hate is very uncomfortable environment for a black person to be in. Other black people recognize how uncomfortable a situation this is for a black person to be in. Question, why did not white people recognize how uncomfortable this was for the black legislature and escort her?
Now, of course some people will say that I don't know that whites did not make the offer and she rejected it. That is a possibility, but we are just going of of WHAT WE KNOW. Nobody but her knows if whites offered. The truth is, however, that this became RACIAL....when white protesters carried symbols of hate, offensive to black people. Why is southern pride confederate flags being flown in Michigan? It aint Dixie.
Now, people are trying to say that its black people trying to make it racial because that protesting crowd just happened to be white. No. It did not JUST HAPPEN TO BE WHITE. It's basically people with an ideology that appeals first and foremost to whites and that blacks generally feel uncomfortable with or being around. Why would black people want to join into movements where members have confederate flags. There was a reason why the protesters were nearly all white....and it has to do with race and ideology. Some blacks in Michigan recognized it decided to step up.....on their own.....without being asked. They volunteered. Now....some white people are trying to caste aspersion on the episode of security. People are just fearful when black people have guns and now they are just looking to try to discredit there right to bear arms by saying they were pulling some racial stunts. No. It was not a stunt. It is the same thing that the Black Panthers did in the 60's to protect black citizens. Actions create equal and opposite reactions. If white people stop doing racial stuff....then the reverberations of black people responding racially will eventually go away. However, after 300 years of white racism......the reverberating reactions will be well into the future.
