I do think they have become tougher on him because he just doesn't address the questions and doesn't answer...so they get more insistant.

If you aren't going to answer the tough questions -- be a coward and hide in the Oval Office.

And his pouting because the next report let the reporter follow up --- not her responsibility to make sure the follow up doesn't frustrate Trump -- all he had to do was take the next reporters question -- but he stormed off.

HE can't handle it. He can't even defend his policies, statements.......

Being as our President knows the history and background of these so called "reporters" and you don't, you are judging his actions based on nuthin' but opinion and prejudice.

Previous definition of a gotcha question:

Any question that former Vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin is too stupid to answer (in other words, all of them).

Newest definition of a gotcha question:

Any question that exposes the Thief-in-Chief's dishonesty (in other words, all of them).

He is the POTUS presenting America in front of the whole world! He needs to put on his big boys skivvies on and man up-- and for Pete's sake- STOP sheltering him as if he was a 5 yr old being attacked by 13 yr old bullies--- from what I saw just a few skinny young lady reporters ...geesh

Not Trump.
You can't just pretend things are not happening, or claim that its happening, but its someone elses's fault. These things are happening in everyone's faces. Trump dedicated his "briefing" to comparing US to other countries, and he even hung a massive banner next to him comparing US to other countries, and he even had to lie about the stats.

Pretending to be ignorant doesn't make anyone look good, it just makes them look ignorant.

Reporters should have a certain amount of decorum because it is an honor to be there.

People might hate the president, some people, but they need to respect the Office of president, meaning the role of him.

that means respect.

Hostile questions and gotcha questions do not belong there, and Trump calls them out knowing they have this agenda.

But if you listen to his answers, they are good answers. When he said to that one reporter, "Go ask China" that was a good suggestion. She got huffy because her question implied that Trump asked that because she is Asian. She needed to not take it personally and respond like the benign way Trump answered her.

If you have a hostile heart, you will find/get hostile answers.

They are lucky that they are permitted there to be able to ask questions.

When real reporters, who are not controlled and dictated to as to what questions they are to ask, start doing the asking I'll then consider your complaints legitimate. Until then, I'll defend our President's right to treat traitors as what they are.

The straw man is that's HER OPINION.

And attempting to state your opinion as fact is the definition of a straw man argument.

There was nothing hostile about the question. Trump plays the victim & lashes out when he doesn't have an answer, which is becoming his trademark.
