The IRS works for him, which is why you have so much faith in IRS and the government in general.

Trump works for me, so I want his tax returns under the "we the people" microscope.

The more he tries to hide them, the more obvious it becomes he is hiding something big, and he has been bending over backwards in order to hide them for 3 full years.

He demanded to see Obama's birth certificate, although no one ever has been asked such thing before, but his wish was granted.

So, yea, would be nice to know something about his past.
Can you guys make up your mind, I thought the house controls the purse strings? Or is that only during impeachment investigations.

Imagine wanting to intentionally know LESS information about the people you have chosen to rule you. Rubes.

Our country is built on 3 co equal branches of government. If you get one, we should get them all.

I’m wondering if Schiff and Pelosi would be down for that.

I can only speak for myself.

Yes, Trump is in process or re-distributing $3 trillion dollars. Did you get your check yet? Its the one that says "President Donald Trump" on it.

Don't spend all my money in one place.

Sure, why not. I hope they find something in Pelosi's return, so they can finally get rid of her. She is starting to resemble those alien creatures from Mars Attacks.

I didn’t get stimulus payment. I’m blessed to still be employed and I am a high earner.

That aside, I just don’t understand your singular blame directed at Trump. I get your motive, you hate the guy, but again, this was a group effort.

No.
That would require violating a persons 4th Amendment.
By consent, is always the American way, unless you are Marxist and use class warfare politics

The rope v. the ladder theory.

People pulling you up by the rope may get tired and drop you
You climbing the ladder you built, has few limitations pushing on determination.

Of course, not -- at least not an "official" one. That would be illegal and, practically, impossible without a radical rewriting of the Constitution. However, there's nothing to stop *you* from paying for a background check.

Yes, absolutely this needs to be a requirement, no matter who the person is or which party he/she belongs to.

It is not just to see how much money the person has.... that part is not so important, but it's to make sure there are no legal issues or conflict of interest issues financially with the person. I mean, what if we found out the next president was taking large sums of money from the Chinese government? Of course we would be concerned as it may affect his/her policies towards China going forward, or there could be concern that person is compromised in some way. These are the reasons we need to be concerned about that with our next president and every one after.
