And medicine is a highly specialized field. You would not go to Rand Paul for a pandemic.
Fauci -- his specialty is epidemics and pandemics and he hasn't left his job to go be a senator

Remember -- Rand Paul suspected he had the virus, got a test and then continued to conduct life as normal.

I think you are over simplifying the concerns.
It is definitely time to ease into operating with the virus without a vaccine. Now that we have mitigated the spread....we can continue to monitor the spread and make sure we don't spike up again.
