I mean really, they were a doomsday cult that really didn't do anything bad, yes the people were naive, gullible and stupid as all hell, but did the ATF really need to go in busting things down with tanks???
Why did the ATF even care? I think they should've just left it all alone and never gotten involved and just left the cult alone.

F-Troop wanted to put on a little spectacle for the media. They shot all the pets the congregation had, and then they opened fire on the front door of the church. It was a planned terrorist attack-they just didn't plan on people defending themselves. The low point was opening fire on people trying to escape the fire and driving them back into the inferno. At least those that weren't killed by the gunfire.
They could have talked with Koresh anytime-he went into town regularly and for a run every single day. But that wouldn't have put on a show for the media.
The question begs. Why were they using a tank like vehicle on American civilians?
Another question that begs is, why do we need so many Federal police agencies?
The bigger question-why is no one in federal law enforcement ever held accountable? Lon Horiuchi was at both Waco and Ruby Ridge-at Ruby Ridge he shot an unarmed woman, who was holding her baby, in the head. Flat out murder-and no accountability.
I hope Janet Reno is spending eternity dying infinite deaths like those kids did.
