This guy is in charge of some serious stuff. The guy does a terrible job of dealing with the terrible stuff. the guy gets fired for sucking.
the sucky fired guy then gets a new title called "whistleblower" and testifies before congress that the guy that fired him sucks.... and the evidence? his own sucky job....
LOL. and democrats everywhere listen intently and say in stern yet wise tones "orangemanbad"...
the guy isn't a whistleblower. he is a guy that sucks and he got fired for sucking and he got is little feelings hurt.
Yes, worse case scenario is we open things up too much then get a runaway infection episode in (mostly Republican) sections of the country that overload medical services. Transportation routes may need to be cut to prevent a spread. I do hope that doesn't happen. As the Chinese curse goes, may you live in interesting times.
Why is this news? He's spreading the same fear that other 'experts' have been spreading. And just like the other 'experts', he didn't really offer any solutions or grand plan.
The fact of the matter is, vaccine will take a while to come out, if we're able to develop one at all. So instead of giving the same old 'dire warning', how about giving us a plan on how to live in Covid19? He's the expert, after all.
What do you mean by spreading fear? Because even with all the measures the US has taken, more than 80,000 have died. Mostly in the past 5-6 weeks. I think that is something to be afraid of, so if them making us aware of the danger is “spreading fear,” I’ll take it because I’d rather be afraid than have my head in the sand.
When this first started, the same crowd called it a hoax. When people started dying, they said it was only the elderly and sick. Now that 80,000+ plus are dead in a few weeks, the experts are “spreading fear” to keep the country shuttered and bring down Trump.
Yeah, that’s what it is It’s the experts who are causing the fear. Not the virus that’s killing people by the tens of thousands all over the world.
I am amazed at these American politics forums and how they differ from forums with people from almost anywhere else. In the US, a pandemic that has killed more than 80,000 of its citizens in 6 weeks is used as a political cudgel to beat their opponents with. Never mind coming together in the face of a common enemy. In the end, you all are tearing your own country apart.
How did Americans develop so much hate for their fellow countrymen in such a short amount of time? I think I know the answer — or rather, a partial answer — but I’m not going to say it.
The total overblown overreaction was only implemented to damage Trump, PERIOD.
All this whisteblower did was express an opinion....Hardly worth the effort for liberals to parade him out in public. His opinion carries about weight at this time as WHO.
Shut up and just stay home if you are afraid. That’s what I’m doing. I don’t need to insult the intelligence of anyone opting not to, and neither should you.

So I gather you don't have a family to support? Are you just saying shut up and obey!

Nope. You’re way off. I’m telling the people not minding their own damn business to stay home and stay safe if they desire, and to cut out the finger-wagging at the folks who are heading back out into the world. Everybody can make a choice for themselves.
