WHO? Isn't this the same group that lied when they said there is no evidence of human to human transmission?

so again i know this is completely unrealistic for many reasons but what if we had a coordinated effort to distribute 360 mil tests and have everyone take the tests at the exact same time then quarantine those who are positive for two weeks,
and do this like once a month until community transmission is halted,or do this city by city, i mean it CAN be stopped , look at Taiwan and new zealand,

also how much do these test costs anyway that make them so hard to give out,,, and when will they be available on Amazon or something for people to buy. they should at least put them on the market so those with money to do so can buy them if they feel sick and want to test themselves at home.

put the tests on amazon,,, distribute the tests like crazy,,, if we do mass testing we can quarantine asymptomatic patients and get out of this sitatuation, what is the oppurtunity cost of the economy being shut down verse the price of mass testing,,,

the thing with testing is i think it has to be done in mass or not at all, i think testing only sick people is a waste bc we already know theyre sick with something,, the whole point of mass testing is to isolate asymptomatic people

it worked for South Korea it can be done,,, put free testing sites on the side of highway exits for anyone to go to ,,, lets make this happen before its to late,, i don't want china beating us
It’s insane that we didn’t roll out with these tests ASAP.

Another issue is that the CDC let any old company put out their tests and many were garbage. There was no quality checks. So now its a mess...

Why is anyone paying any attention whatsoever to anything WHO says these days? By being a mouthpiece for the Beijing party, they’ve lost all reliability - if they ever had any.

Communist propaganda and DNC propaganda are aligned in that they are both anti-American.

We need to learn more about it and how it started to get it under control.

Look at AIDS, Flu, Measles etc. We figured it out over time how to treat and prevent them, we will do the same with this.

And we didn't lock down the entire world while doing so. There won't be any $ to fight it, if people aren't working producing tax revenue.

That is where the Federal Government should be stepping in to review the big picture for all states and globally blending the Best Medical and Economic needs. The Trump administration can't do that, their lack of action or slow reaction still considers this a hoax.

We shouldn't just open the door to a full restart and risk loosing all the gains of containment. We need a smart restart or people in high risk states will go to fully open states and risk the spread further.

So if it never goes away, how long should we continue shelter in place?

I mean it's a virus so....

People will catch it, some will get very sick, and some will die. THAT is the "new normal" people would rather kill the country over than admit. What we can do is continue looking for a cure or improved treatments and make sure that those people we can identify as being most at risk know the risk and can make good choices for themselves. What we can't do is what we are doing.
