6 policemen take a woman with a child Down for improperly wearing a face mask. Have we become a police state. What country am I leaving in?

NYC has been a police state for decades, especially regarding respect for the BOR. If you're in NY you have left America behind. California, WA, OR and IL are little different.
I have to ask, why didn’t she just pull the *&$* mask up and go on her way? She wasn’t taken down or arrested for not wearing her mask correctly, that happened for smacking one of the officers.
That said, there is something distinctly unsettling about a group of cops descending on a person for not wearing a mask. It’s kind of reminiscent of the moral police surrounding a woman not wearing a veil in a Muslin country.

This is what the left wants. Let them have it, in there own backyard. But the rest of the country is watching. They will use what they see to decide if more government, more police confrontation and more authoritarianism is really the correct approach.
