What a ridiculous piece that made no sense at all just to tie in the Coronavirus with WWII. I honestly believe that it didn't matter who the President was, America is gonna get hit by Coronavirus because too many Americans just didn't think the virus was a serious threat to their lives.
If we had the Media during World War II that we have now, we would be speaking either Japanese or German.

Well, Hitler was Time magazine's "person of the year" in 1938

Considering how much Trump likes military parades and strong man, he might have joined the Nazi party. Trump damn near turned French 2 years ago during Bastille day.

So, you expect the same degree of leadership from the POTUS as from the populous?

Congratulations, that bar's been met.

First off, this is an opinion piece and not "news" at all, so learn to take it for what it is.

As to another poster's comment about how it correlates with the coronavirus, it's really about poor leadership. Taking this administration's example of how they are handling this; if the same bungling had occurred during World War 2, he posits that we'd have been taken over by Germany having had a different/less effective government at that time.

Believe it or don't believe it--it's an opinion piece and nothing to equate to "news." I'm surprised at how many people don't know the difference. Actually, not surprised. I was surprise when I first started participating in this forum. Now it's expected.

Do people on here not know the difference between a “news” article and an “opinion” article. The first word in the title literally says opinions.

IKR? They rail on and on about how we elected a corrupt idiot with a trail of sexual assault claims against him, and then present.....Biden.
