As of May 6, the Senate has confirmed 193 Trump Article III judge nominations with 43 to go.
2 Supreme Court justices
51 Courts of Appeal judges
138 District Court judges
2 Court of International Trade judges
The remaining 43 Article III Trump nominations the Senate has to address:
2 Courts of Appeal judges
40 District Court judges
1 Court of International Trade judge
Closing the gap. About the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals which is reversed by the Supreme Court more than any other, there are 16 Democrat appointed, 13 Republican appointed of which 10 were appointed by Trump.
Trump made no recess appointments.
Two questions:
1) What's (or who's) the Senate hold up on the remaining 43? Anyone know?
2) Why no recess appointments?
