Considering the huge number of people employed at both Walmart and AMZ, the infection/ death rate is relatively low. It would be challenging to prove infections were acquired at work. Unlike some of the meat processing plants, it looks like both companies have taken all reasonable precautions to protect their employees.
I have no idea the number/ locations of AMZ in Canada or the state of infection rates in those cities/ Provences.
50% of AMZ orders are facilitating third party sellers, commonly small businesses who choose to use the AMZ platform to market to the masses.
It is also possible the volume of orders/ fulfillment is returning to normal levels thus reading OT.
AMZ provides a better overall total comp package than can be found elsewhere, for similar work.
AMZ employees, like all employees are free to seek employment elsewhere.
