I honestly find it amusing. The Dems have spent the last few years bashing the other white guys in power and who do they select? The very type they raged against. The Old white establishment male. They had how many women and minorities to chose from and they went right back to the establishment guy. Now they hang on every utterance of a senile old pervert.
Gerald Ford had to agree to pardon Nixon, to be named vice-president after Agnew resigned in the face of corruption charges. This set Ford up to be president, giving Nixon his get-out-of-jail card. But in pardoning Nixon, Ford ended his political career. Biden will certainly not make that same mistake, by pardoning Trump, not even to simplify things and save the country from further embarrassment, which were the ersatz reasons Ford gave, about Nixon.
If Trump were pardoned, our nation would suffer extreme humiliation and chastisement, by the whole world. How could we claim to have a system of justice, if this ultimate criminal were allowed to walk?
