A new film on her life coming next week says she said she was paid to be an anti-abortion advocate.
Oh, my.
“The new FX documentary “AKA Jane Roe,” out May 22, contains a shocking revelation: Roe (of “Roe v. Wade” fame) played the part of an anti-abortion crusader in exchange for money.
...
“This is my deathbed confession,” she chuckles, sitting in a chair in her nursing home room, on oxygen. Sweeney asks McCorvey, “Did [the evangelicals] use you as a trophy?” “Of course,” she replies. “I was the Big Fish.” “Do you think you would say that you used them?” Sweeney responds. “Well,” says McCorvey, “I think it was a mutual thing. I took their money and they took me out in front of the cameras and told me what to say. That’s what I’d say.” She even gives an example of her scripted anti-abortion lines. “I’m a good actress,” she points out. “Of course, I’m not acting now.””
The immoral practices of what Evangelicals will try to do to ban abortion is so sick and disgusting. It helps explain why they so strongly support Trump.
I don't find this shocking at all. Of course, if an advocacy group finds someone who wants to take the issue up in the courts, they will pay for court and legal costs, coach someone on how do deal with the press, pay the costs of making the challenge. That would happen with ANY controversial issue. It doesn't mean that her pregnancy was not real (faked) or that the issue was any less salient. I find this to be NOT breaking news, but routine, "everybody would know this" type news.
And right before her death, she got paid to see she is pro-abortion... Liberals are too funny... Apparently, one too many lies and Hell called for her...

No wonder not to be shocked when they're willing to pay this enormous amount to fakers. From article:
‘AKA Jane Roe’ finds documents disclosing at least $456,911 in ‘benevolent gifts’ from the anti-abortion movement to McCorvey.'
I also wouldn't be overly shocked if anti-abortion people sometimes get paid to change their minds to be pro-choice.

Nah, she's a hero to liberals for proving how immoral the Christian Right can get from their zealotry and agenda.
I kind of feel bad for the lady. Somewhat of a tragic figure. She was a simple-minded person and perhaps pathological liar who seemed lost, used, and abused her entire life. I wonder how the third kid who would've been aborted (if his/her mother was actually able to get an abortion, a train ticket to NY or WA wouldn't have been that hard to offer, rather than being used by a couple of lawyers) feels about the whole situation.

Don't feel sorry for her cause she certainly didn't and wouldn't feel sorry for you...
