Interesting, how it took so long for some one to research what the educational crudentials of "Doctor Barbara Ferrer" are"

People can agree or disagree about Fauci or Birx but at least they are Medical Doctors.

The LA Public Health Director "Doctorate" is not the type of doctor one encounters when they go to the hospital. She is not a Medical Doctor like Fauci or Birx, she is a doctor of "Social Welfare" from a "School of Social Policy"
"
Her Doctoreate is in "Social Welfare" from the Brandeis "School of Social Policy"

$585,000 in pay and benefits for Public Health Director and they hire someone who is a doctor in Social Welfare who was granted from a school of Public Policy.

Amazing, how based on the state of California dashboard that many counties likely were much better at containing the spread compared to Los Angeles.

You left out that she does have a Master in Public Health from Boston University.

But why don't you post about the great state of Texas where the Director of Public Health in Dallas for 12 years (until 2018) was someone without a medical degree?

https://www.dallasnews.com/news/2018...investigation/

or the Director of Public Health in Maricopa County...Marcy Flangan. She has an MBA and apparently no health or medical degree at all. WTH? are you complaining about.....

She may have degrees out the wazoo but has no common sense. She wants everyone locked down because she is in the high risk group and doesn't want to stay home instead. She needs to retire with her golden pension which is underfunded by the way. That's why Gov. Gruesome wants to bankrupt the state so he can beg money from the Feds for those state and union pensions.

Ok, PP, lets talk about common sense. Common sense should tell you that the ONLY way to avoid this virus 100% is to not come near another human being. Masks may do some good, gloves may do some good, washing your hands may do some good, but if I do not come anywhere near other people, I have NO chance of getting it.

So that is common sense, anything else is just wishful thinking and hope.

Not really. The virus lasts for days on plastic, for 12 hours on cardboard...you get the idea. Most of us are going to come in contact with this virus. If you have health issues, you have to protect your own health. The world needs to move on. Open everything up and get people back to work.
