I am an Independent and do not wear a mask while shopping.

I have not worn a mask out anywhere, and do not plan to, unless I go into a store where it is mandatory.

depends on where I'm shopping. I live on the border of 3 counties. one I wear a mask in, the other two not so much.

That is a function of the local government direction (direction not requirement).

I'm a registered independent who is a centrist that leans to the right these days.

We mostly stay inside but when we go out shopping, we always wear a mask. Recently, the management in the building where we live has asked the residents to wear masks when in the lobby. We respect that and do so.

Yes (most of the time, working on 100% and I think I'm there)

Registered independent, recently voting a lot more D than R though.

Also, I lived in Lee County for about 15 years, up in Cary now (Neighbor).

Honestly, I think the corrolation between party and mask usage is weaker than most think.... R's are just louder about their belligerence, as they are about most things....

Yep, I agree, I don't know who made wearing a mask political, the media I suppose.

An honest evaluation has led me to conclude it was both the media, the folks who showed up to protest en masse at certain locations, and the knuckleheads holding 3,000-person block parties (or similar), though I think the media holds a far larger share of the responsibility for inducing hysteria over all.
