Like it or hate it the following is only my opinion:
Excerpt:
Dr Petrovsky said in a statement that the virus shows signs of being ‘cultured’ to evolve over time rather than being rapidly genetically spliced and mutated.
“These are generally easily recognisable and hence clear signatures of human intervention in the creation of a virus. The fact that these artificial inserts are not present has been interpreted by some to mean this virus is not the result of human manipulation,” said Petrovsky.
Response:
It is truly scary how far evil will go to erase its own footsteps so as not to be followed.
The CCP will be held accountable in the world court one day. The virus only exposed
the party for what they are.
We've been saying that for years now. But Americans demand the cheapest products possible, generally made by the cheapest labor available.
I don't think it's fair to blame American workers for wanting the cheapest products possible. I think it would be more fair to say that companies pay American workers the least amount possible and that's why workers feel they have to buy the cheapest products, because they can't afford to pay more. I think plenty of Americans would be happy to buy American products if they could afford to do so. If this pandemic results in higher pay and a better healthcare system, I think it would be easy to dissuade Americans from buying Chinese products, especially if this virus was altered by them.
More than just economic... There's some pretty damning claims, and plenty of evidence to support these claims, of blatant violations of human rights going on before all this. And our corporations, and the world for that matter, has been supporting it inadvertently.... Or maybe I am being too generous in giving these entities the benefit of the doubt, and they were totally cool with these crimes against humanity (which communism is IMO).
For sure. The Chinese government's human rights abuses are as sick and pervasive as they are numerous. Both parties share historical responsibility for their rise, though it's just one party today that's bizarrely content to carry water on their behalf.
As well they should. Allowing China into the WTO may have been the biggest economic mistake in history.
Allowing China into WTO may be the only way to control them. My thinking is, if China was not a member they wold have no reason to abide by WTO decisions and regulations. They may truly become a rogue state, answering to no one.

They are essentially uncontrollable as it is at this point, and they already answer to no one. Any observance of decisions and regulations on their part at present is utterly voluntary. The world allowed the fox to guard the hen house and the results were predictable.
Again....economically and militarily......China is destined to pass the US in the next 25 years, if trends continue as they are. There is no way that the WEST, lest by America, wants to see this happen. We FEAR China, more than anything else. The West has dominated the world for the last 500 years and it does not want to let go of that rein and China is the threat.
We are not going to sit idly by and let this happen. We, in the west and in particular, America, is going to try to slow down or bring down China's growth....BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY, however, the means cannot be such that it would bring us into direct military conflict. We don't want that. So what other means can this be accomplished?
