Science often has members who propose alternatives to the general consensus. (An example of this is Halton Arp, who went searching for galactic interactions that could disprove the Big Bang theory.) These individuals are useful for finding cracks in a consensus model. But proving a negative is often difficult. Demonstrating the lab-origin hypothesis will require a careful search for a natural progenitor and host animal, which could take many years, assuming China will even cooperate. Until then, it remains an open question and I expect the consensus will stay in place.

The team led by Nikolai Petrovsky, Professor of Medicine at Flinders University, has suggested that SARS-CoV-2 was likely genetically engineered that led the virus naturally evolving in an animal subject to be effective at attaching to human cells.

Well, that's certainly definitive IF it's saying what you want to hear, eh?

I'd prefer it came from an innocent bowl of bat soup, but i understand your desire to protect your comrades from further scrutiny.

The Chinese, as we already know, are evil and cannot function as a reliable and trustworthy trading partner for the rest of the world.

Too bad the nation didn't listen to Ross Perot and instead elected Clinton, who created the China problem we have today.

^^^^This reminds of the story about the woman who found a dying, injured snake and nursed it back to health. Once the snake recovered, it bit the woman. As the woman was dying she asked the snake why it bit her when she was the one who nursed it back to health. The snake said to her "You knew I was a snake when you took me in."

We knew China was a "snake" when we took it in. If we had any doubts it was a snake, what happened in Tianamen Square should have erased any doubts. Yet Old Man Bush still renewed China's most favored nation status. Now the snake has bitten not only us but the entire world.

Now the question is this --- Are we going to finally see "the snake" for what it is and stop enabling it? Or are we going to allow the snake to keep biting us?

Really?

The Chicoms made a big deal about closing their wet markets. After all, they told the world that was where the virus originated. The closings didn't last long. The wet markets are now all open again.

That tells the world that the Chicoms know the virus didn't come from the wet market. It was created in the Wuhan lab. If it wasn't, why are they refusing to let other countries see the lab for themselves? Why are they refusing to tell the world how the virus spread so rapidly? Why are they refusing to tell anyone who patient zero is and what happened to them?

At this point, putting the genie back in the bottle in any meaningful sense carries with it the risk of inducing WW3.

It is truly scary how far evil will go to erase its own footsteps so as not to be followed.
The CCP will be held accountable in the world court one day. The virus only exposed
the party for what they are.
You do realize the virus is not man made, according to your post?
