Why would china be secretive in first place? Perhaps this
https://www.theweek.in/news/world/20...lia-study.html

The team led by Nikolai Petrovsky, Professor of Medicine at Flinders University, has suggested that SARS-CoV-2 was likely genetically engineered that led the virus naturally evolving in an animal subject to be effective at attaching to human cells.

Let's say this is true.

Ok, what does it mean?

When it's peer reviewed and published in Nature Medicine, you let us know.

It means (IF true and more evidence comes forward) a lot of leaders and nations are going to reevaluate their relationship with China, and maybe make some changes. This goes right down to the individuals shopping for goods.

As well they should. Allowing China into the WTO may have been the biggest economic mistake in history.

More than just economic... There's some pretty damning claims, and plenty of evidence to support these claims, of blatant violations of human rights going on before all this. And our corporations, and the world for that matter, has been supporting it inadvertently.... Or maybe I am being too generous in giving these entities the benefit of the doubt, and they were totally cool with these crimes against humanity (which communism is IMO).

It would mean a WHOLE lot more than that imo!!

I wonder about this, because I have read quite a few things that suggest this virus was indeed man made, and considering how 'perfect' it was, it definitely raises some questions.

If this were true (and they were honest and informed the public), we would be forced into a war with China (mainly due to lives lost and economic impact, it would be worse than 9-11 on scale)

I dont think they would be honest and tell the public, even if this was true, the implications on the global economy would be devastating, the world cannot handle such another large economic blow right now.

We've been saying that for years now. But Americans demand the cheapest products possible, generally made by the cheapest labor available. China's labor is not as cheap as it used to be, and this will have a greater impact on convincing shoppers to buy goods made elsewhere, but not necessarily from America.

The rules of business don't suddenly change, until they do, and that will have to come from the top in the form of rules, laws, regulations, tariffs, etc. That's why Trump is in the White House, and why Beijing Biden will never be stepping foot in the white house again. Most people are smart enough to figure out, change has to happen, one way or another. Beijing Biden is all about preserving status quo and guaranteeing China remains our #1 global trading partner.

It means China is the new North Korea, the world will ask the CCP to step down, they will refuse, the world will cut off all trade and they will have a massive famine but still refuse to step down and essentially just be a large North Korea. Military intervention may not be necessary. If the CCP threatens military action ww3 begins, the world vs the CCP, its a very lopsided battle and the world would overthrow the CCP in a few days with hopefully as few causalities as possible. Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Mongolia all the countries bordering China who took part in the war would claim a peice of "then China " for their own. The Chinese people will get to watch youtube and netflix for the first time in their life. The world will be safe from another bioattack, globalization accelerates. World peace and prosperity ensues.
