No one caught it.... He declared the USA essential. We The People, are the USA.
We consent, or we do not consent to governments wishes..... They can ask and I can respectfully decline and say NO.
There is nothing stopping them from religious observance just need to avoid crowds, go with open air and online they don't get to avoid health guidance. I am more concerned about opening up schools that should be the focus, plenty of other problems without this.
More bluster by Trump, he isn't doing anything but preaching to his base.
President Trump said Friday that he wanted state governors to allow the nation’s houses of worship to reopen “right now” despite the ongoing health risks from the coronavirus pandemic posed by large gatherings of people.
“Today I’m identifying houses of worship — churches, synagogue and mosques — as essential places that provide essential services,” Trump told reporters gathered in the White House press briefing room. “Some governors have deemed liquor stores and abortion clinics as essential, but have left out churches and other houses of worship. That’s not right.”
trump is trying to beef up his supporter base, even if it requires being reckless.
Yep. He has, yet again, provoked a cultural and political fight over the pandemic.

Here we go again...this is his MO. One can fill in the blank with any number of issues in place of the word pandemic and then the typical WH response. He is full of hot air and, as always, seeks only to divide these United States of America.
This is just another transparent political move as we all know conservative religious leaders are an important constituency in Trump’s political base.

Some officials of the WH discussed simply "releasing the new CDC guidelines without fanfare, but Trump decided to do an event so he could get public credit for fighting for churches against his own administration's guidelines." Yep he wanted public credit for the mixed messages so he could light a new cultural and political fire-fight over the pandemic. So here we have the latest evidence of his divisive form of governing...certainly not leadership, folks. Oh, and of course his definition of governing is CAMPAIGNING to keep the job he doesn't do.
Most likely he'll back down as he usually does, but the fire will be raging on forums like this and other social media platforms and in our not so United States of America, all per the Donald's plan.

Trump is just trying to get attention and trying to feel relevant. He'll back down and say the opposite tomorrow. He's just sticking his puny finger in the wind, as usual. Can't trust the guy with anything but chaos.
I hope that he doesn't back down. It is about time that the mosques were allowed to reopen.
